Acadiana Lifesaving Team – Because of Brucey

We’re a South Louisiana-based action team dedicated to saving the most vulnerable animals—especially neonatal and medically critical kittens—while empowering youth and community members to lead lifesaving change. Whether it’s providing emergency foster support, organizing supply drives, or creating disaster response plans for pets and families, we believe everyone has a role to play in building a more compassionate and prepared Acadiana. Bucs Action for animals

I’m starting a club focused on keeping pets safe. The group will serve as a hub for animal lovers to share information, seek help, and work together to find solutions that keep pets out of shelters and in safe homes. We welcome anyone who advocates for animals in our community. Our club will volunteer at Cat Naples Alliance and collaborate with other animal organizations, especially those focusing on cats and dogs. We’ll also host events and fundraisers, including a week-long initiative to support animals and raise funds at local venues.
